There is vehicle access to most of the site, but there is additional help to get you to the more inaccessible spots. Forgewood are improving the access throughout the site, field camping allows you to keep your car with you.

InWood is a classic ancient woodland offering a great variety of different pitches..

The site is over 30 acres of woodland with a concrete track for access - so no getting stuck in the mud!. You can park off the side of the track and camp next to your car or head off deeper into the woods for a more secluded spot under the shade of an oak tree. Badgells Wood are within a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - bluebells, butterflies & badgers galore.

Runs off-grid so it’s back to nature but with gas powered showers, washing up area, WCs and recycling facilities - rustic but with everything you need! Badgells Wood have to tank up fresh water - so please use it sparingly & please bring drinking water (there will be more on site for sale if you need it). Open fires are welcome and you can forage for wood or we will provide it when that runs out.

Their site sits on an old WWII training ground and campsite, with old tracks, hut bases and 1.5km of trench! Feel free to explore, but please take care and let Jon or Nick know what you find to add to their picture of what was here before.

Blacklands Caravan and Camping offers the perfect opportunity to get away from it all in a picturesque countryside environment. Located in the heart of Sussex, the camping fields are set in oak enclosed meadows, backed by scenic lakes.

The nearest town to the campsite is Henfield, around two miles away, where you can find a supermarket, post office, major banks and several restaurants and fast-food outlets. Henfield also lies along the South Downs Link, a unique walking/cycling route running between Shoreham Beach and Guildford.
